Good Grief Studio is an art & design studio founded in Toronto, Ontario by contemporary artist Jahn Page (b. 1981, Richmond, VA).
Having spent the past decade as a commercial artist in Toronto’s hospitality industry - Jahn’s commercial portfolio spans sculpture, painting and drawing - with concentrations in wheat paste, northern renaissance painting and large-scale relief sculpture. During this period he developed many of the techniques and methods researched in his studio today.
He began Good Grief Studio in March of 2020 to pursue these exploratory ideas; attempting to blur the lines between paintings and sculptures - art and design - client and collaboration.
Good Grief Studio produces limited-series works of art while implementing an original process of design and fabrication that enables interaction as a viewer and expansion as a collector.
The studio explores the interaction of colour & shape as a common theme from our product line to commercial work and commissions.
